I haven't been around much, but here are a few 15 month pics at the end. My back and sides are cut down to a 1-guard, and I was a little surprised to see the scar evident since it really can't be found with a 3 guard cut. I hope the two new pics I posted show up at the end.....

Dewayne-

You must really be pleased.

I've seen some of your prior posts before (at 5 and/or 6 mo. post-op?).

At 7 months there is a HUGE difference. The 'do looks very natural and is really thickening up well.

Enjoy!

Your hair looks great Dewayne.

But it looks like it's time to invest in a new camera Smile

All the best,

Bill (Falc)

Dewayne,

This looks great. I am going in for my first HT with Dr. Cooley this Friday November 14th. Hope all goes well for me. I am going with 2500 in the front 1/3 and 1000 in the crown or more if Dr. Cooley can do it and find more.

Dewayne,

You must be very pleased with your results so far. Really big difference from 5 months to 7 months! Surely much more thickening/growth to come! Please keep us updated and try taking pics in a variety of lighting conditions if you can, in the future. Thanks!

You know, this picture taking thing isn't my cup of tea, but I'm going to try and get better. I have a relatively cheap digital camera that I've 'misplaced', so I took these with my video camera - which is a pretty good video camera but not all that good for stills.

Who was it that wrote the excellent blog about picture taking? Remember the one where he held up the candle as lighting? Maybe I'll check that out.

D- looking good! You must be really happy with how it is filling in. And it will continue to do so in the next five months. You have a great result with a little amount of grafts!

Dewayne would you be willing to hook up for lunch one day so I can see the results in person? I'm scheduled to meet with Dr. Cooley in 2 weeks, and would love to see a couple of his patients before I go to see him. I'm in Charlotte NC

Looks to be coming along nicely; still early, too, especially if you are an average (or slow) paced grower. IMO, I'd get Cooley to document your result at ~10-12months. I'm sure he'd love to have your photos "on file", as well.

And what a Merry Christmas for you it is sporting your new lustrous locks!

Your hair looks great my friend. I hope you have a very merry and hairy Christmas Smile

Don't forget to update your blog - it's still sitting pretty at 5 months.

Best wishes,

Bill (Falc)

Good Progress. Congratulations. Your hairline in the front looks very similar to mine. You seem to have made some good progress in the past couple of months.

Lookin' good! Totally natural, which I know was a major point of improvement for you! It will only get better and better, too....hard to believe you are at 9months, though, as I remember vividly when you first went in....continue to grow well!

Dewayne- looking great! Really natural and very nice coverage.

Good for you. I'm still scared to to take the plunge (might be more willing if I were a NW 4 where I'd expect to see better results like yours). As a NW 6 (ugh) with a so-so donor area (according to Dr. Bernstein), I'm very hesitant.

Not to hijack the thread, but....Joey, make sure to speak with some others physicians, as well -- prognoses can have quite the range, doctor2doctor! Quite a few people have been NW5+ and been perceived to have "weak" donors, only to end up with excellent extraction #s and excellent results....! Have hope!
