HT #2.....9 months later by Salt-N-Peppa (created on )Gallery | Comments

Almost 9 months after my first HT, I had my second HT. Therefore what you see is probably complete maturity of the front and mid scalp area ( my first HT). The crown, which grows in slow, is the second HT and is only 9 months old. NONE of the pictures use any hair gels, colorings, derma match etc. Also, none of these photos use a flash.

My apologies, I thought my sign on screen would show......Dr Hasson did both of my transplants. I am very happy even though I'll never have as thick a head of hair as when I was 18.

Looks good.

The hair will soften a bit as well & you still have a couple more months of maturity ..

This is a great change. I'm sure that you must get comments from others on a regular basis about how much better things look.

Mrjb, I have always had wavy hair, but the transplanted hairs came out wiry. As time passes, it seems to be settling down some. I also look forward to a little bit of thickening on the crown.
The amazing thing to me is my pre HT pictures show me nearly as bald as a babies butt.......I have tended to forget, as time passes, that I have come such a long way since then.
Perhaps my grey hair tends to mute the results in the pictures some, but I am quite thrilled with my results.
I might have to change my screen name to mostly salt and a little pepper!!!

I am trying to keep people guessing about my hair....right now I am going for a much longer look ( plus a porno moustache ). Probably in about 6-9 months I'll go much shorter as you suggest. As guys we tend to keep the same hairstyle from our mid twenties forever. My changing of styles radically, will hopefully make people forget my wispy hair of two years ago... plus I can change the porno 'stache to a soul patch!!!
Maybe some David Bowie type eye makeup from his Ziggy days too!

SNP,

Haven't seen you for awhile brother...welcome back! It's really nice to see your transformation. In a lot of ways, it was a lot like mine - going from virtually no hair left to a lot of coverage and decent density. Congratulations on your hair restoration. You deserve it bro!

You are right Falc, I went underground for awhile. I wanted to emerge after my 2nd HT had time to grow in to a reasonable level. I can't state to you how much these transplants have helped my self esteem.
I also want to give HUGE props to this site and the people on this forum. The collective and historical knowledge of these people who visit here helped steer me to a remarkable Doctor and now a remarkable transformation. IMHO, cheers bro-

Hey S-N-P,

Looks great, my friend............it really does. Especially since you have more to come in the crown! Even without it, looks great as is......it really does.

Oh, and please show pics when you let the 70's porn mustache come in..............i gotta see that!! lol! The Bowie eye makeup might not hurt either :-) !!

Not sure I'll subject my porno 'stache to this tough crowd....but you need only imagine two long legged spiders hanging from below my nose. Certainly its no Tom Selleck manly growth.
Thanks for the compliments though, coming from a veteran like you it means alot to me.
When I get of my lazy butt , I'll create the weblog of photos so everyone can see my journey of the past 18 months. I think I offer a slightly different perspective than most here since I am almost 50 now. Again thanks
Cheers S-n-P

alright, you guys are starting to scare me....if I had said Gene Simmons makeup ( alas, not the tongue though!!) rather than the effeminate Bowie would you have been so eager to see the look?
Just kidding boys, I couldn't resist the drive-by assault.

Nearly 6000 FU's on my head and 15 hairs on my lip.
Cheers. S-n-P
