Hello mark81 and welcome to our community.

Congratulations on selecting an excellent physician. You may want to do a search for the member "hairfree" who also just recently had surgery with Dr. Rahal.

The work done looks great immediately post op. Be sure to follow the doctor's post op instructions.

Since hair loss is unpredictable, I encourage you, that if you don't already, to research and consider finasteride to minimize the risk of losing the native hair you have.

Keep us posted.

Falc

The work looks great, congrats to you, mark81. I'm becoming a big fan of Dr. Rahal and like what I see him doing. I'll be anxious to hear of your experience with him and watch the growth.

Thanks for all your positive comments! I am recovering well post surgery and I will try to post some close ups of the grafts for you GoodToGo. I have my sutures out Monday so I'll see if I can get some pics then. Most of the grafts haven't shed yet.

I've posted updated pics (just over 4 months post-op). Things are coming along well in the hairline, but behind the hairline is still very thin. It's still early though. Let me know what you think.

Your just starting to grow .In the next 4 months you will be overjoyed. I absolutly love everyone of Dr Rahals resuts Ive seen. His donor scars are almost always thin and though not as aggresive as Armani {good thing} ,he gets good dense results with good coverage. He and Alexander dont get enough credit in my opinion .

Great work,

Also, the shorter hair style looks good. You have a long way to go yet before this fully matures. Again, Dr Rahal comes thru!

if your intention was to make us all SO envious of your thick, wavy, beautiful Deanesque mop that our only desire was to hunt you down and chop you and your hair up into little pieces and show it to you before you die, then all i can say is:

--it worked.
save some women out there for the rest of us with that pomp of yours.

p.s.--- if I were you I would REALLY rub it in everyone's face. Make a slow motion video of you combing and loving on your hair and play the song "REUNITED" in the back ground...

"REUNITED & IT FEELS SO GOOOOD!"

--"AH, REUNITED & IT FEELS SOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!"...
