Please grow, it's not about different taste. In this field it's about doing exceptional work. Would you go to someone who does ok work or someone that does outstanding work? I see all the top posters I mentioned refrained from commenting on this one. Kind of says something don't you think? Quite disapproval? In the end, if this guy is truly happy then that's the only thing that matters.

I tried just blame your criticism on a diiferent taste. The patient is frickin HAPPY. Your not but he IS.
People not commenting means nothing. If top posters are scared to comment on a bad result then they are frickin cowards, and dont belong on here. There are plenty of guys that will call out a poor result tastefully.
Rome wasnt built in a day .You act like this is a painting. This is SURGERY that has its limitations .You cant always finish in one surgery. Yes I went to someone who does exceptional work but I have seen results on here that truly suck ,and this isnt one of them.
If its not about different taste then why do you and I disagree. The growth looks very good and the hairline is appropriate. The temple points rebuilt will make this a much more natural result but at what expense a stretched scar. We dont know all the details but what I do know is that the patient loves the work.

I agree with spoon.

It depends alot on the pics.
The docs that showcase alot of work on forums like these know how to take the pics (correct lighting, angles, ect.)

Im not at all saying these docs are pulling a fast one and the pics are lying to us...the pics are just more flattering....period.

Why do you think people hire pros to take wedding pics...or pictures of your little joeys first birthday....the pics just look better.

In this case...if he was walking down the street...it would be totally undetectable.

The next time you're at a bar or waiting for a table at a restaurant..take a look at the hairlines around you...you could make a case 5 times out of 10 why it might be fake...think about it.

I know it sounds stupid...well exactly...no one does this.

looks good to me....if this was posted by one of the regular Docs, no one would say a word. this is about perception and bias. i would bet that the person in the photos is thrilled.

more-hair, i agree with your points.

You sound very condescending when you make comments like "Ok I tried to be fair" Are you on a certain pedestal that gives you the authority to judge this case? The fact of the matter getting a hairline design is like a work of art. Many surgeons refer to it as artistry in the ht business. For others who make comments like “if he were on the street, you wouldn't be able to recognize this as an ht all”. You can't make this claim until you see him in the street for all we know he could look worse. So this is pure conjecture.

Your right I should have said I tried to GET you off the hook from looking silly. It came out the wrong way. It seemed like you are trying to school me .I see what I see and thats what makes this a taste issue. Have you even researched what can and can not be done in one session. Not everyone is a laxity freak like Jotronic

Just curious how much more rounded do you want it? By the way I edited my post because it came out the wrong way. Im just a poster like you.
The bottomline is he is only 7 months and can address any concerns with a small strip or fue session . This doctor has showed some other work that wasnt very good but this one is above average with the potential to be great with some refinement We both have our opinions and I respect yours

it's simple. It's not rounded at all. The right profile looks a bit rounded but looks unatural . The left profile is not rounded at all. It's straight and looks linear. Oh and by the way I'm not trying to school anyone. I was just commenting on what I see nothing against you. I do however, believe that designing the hairline does involve certain artistic capabilities

Is this what you like and mean by rounded? Im a little confused.
His receded sides is the only thing I feel needs restored now. They dont tie in with the hairline .
Hes got 5 more months growth in the hairline. Its all good though.

I think his hairline looks fine. I would prefer it a little thicker as mine looks almost identical and I'm addding about 800 grafts. He is only 7 months out so he will get some more growth

Anyway I think you guys are forgetting that you would never see him the way that picture looks as you are looking at him from his eyes up. In the real world when you see his entire body it would appear much different as 99.9 % of people aren't going to focus on his forehead.

Take a look at just your forehead in the rearview mirror tomorrow and you will see what I mean

personally i don't like the hairline, you can still see his balding pattern, it looks almost like a wig. there is definite improvement but i can't see myself being any happier about my hairloss situation if i was him, but maybe its the pictures? again not trash talking, its my opinion.

~im getting a hair transplant in 2012 when im 25~

That not trash talking Jupiter. I f you dont like it thats just you opinion. You want it filled in more Anouar wants it receded more and Im in the middle. Once again it comes down to taste. I would like to see this guy in 12 months with no gel and a longer syle. Alot of things can change in 5 months.
This is the only result Ive seen from Mckenzie that wouldnt piss me off if I was the patient. Its far from perfect but a big improvement. Is this doc in my top 20 NOPE but Im not going to dog this patient just because of past results from this doc.

Please, that is exactly what I mean. Slightly matural hairline but natural looking. It is rounded at the temples and doesnt go straight back like the Mckenzie hairline. I know he still has further growth but I doubt the temple area was addressed. My critisim is not of the patient. Yes he has good growth but I don't care for the hairline.

I figured that was want you liked. Thats why I said its more about taste. I was looking at the bigger picture and imagining what 5 more months of growth will achieve and the sides rebuilt and a longer more relaxed hairstyle . Jupiter likes a more linear hairline .I like the jaggy u shape, and you like the heavily receded type. They all work and all have a place on certain people. The thing that always gives a toupee or transplant away is the receded sides. I f your going to go aggresive with a hairline the sides MUST be addressed sometime for a complete natural result
