These are 3 month photos taken with a flash under bright light. Ofcourse at this stage there is very little growth other than the grafts that were kept. There is evidence of hairs just starting to grow.

Hey folks. I decided to start a new thread rather than deleting some of the photos of the original thread. If interested here is the 1st thread that shows pre and immediate post photos http://hair-restoration-info.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/2566060861/m/4171011482

NN,

Things look very good for only 3 months, I really see no evidence of your old work. You should be golden for the new year!

Hey NN,

The redness in the donor scar line will diminish greatly in the coming months. I know it's hard waiting for the final results, but I know you'll be happy with it. I guess you know who to complain to if you're not. Thanks for posting new pics. It's always nice to follow along. My best to you and the mrs.

Hey guys--Thanks for all the kind words. I really am very pleased so far. It is unbelievable that at the 3 month mark I already notice a pretty remarkable change and the old work is camouflaged. It almost seems like I am already starting to have slightly different styling options. This is way too cool.

The scar is obviously still red but Dr. Ron pointed out that with the Tricho sometimes the hairs growing thru keep the area aggravated. That would make sense as you can definitely see hair growing thru it. Also I play a variety of sports and likely the goalie mask in hockey or the inversion table is not exactly kind to the scar.

I will likely post again at the 6 month mark at minimum and I am sure that there will be some pretty drastic changes.

Take care,

NN

You are almost over the hump Nelly. Soon you will start sprouting all over inclding the donor area. It takes time to fade as well. At 8 months I still have a little pinkness on one side

Hey NN, you have a good amount of native hair remaining so you are going to look great when this grows out.

You deserve a positive outcome for all you help you provide others on here so congrats.

Sadhairloss,

Yes I am about due to post some new photos. In approx. a week I will hit the 6 month mark. I'll try to get my wife to post a few better photos. I am curious what you guys have to say about things. I personally believe that things are better but not drastically. I would like to know what the consensus is.

Anymore pics? I mean you can't expect anything drastic at 6 months...

NervousNelly,
i would say its not the pictures that count, but meeting some friends & family after 6 months that will be the telling point. They will notice the difference and when they do, it does give u a great buzz :-)

ur results are great so far.

happy growing!
