Two months gone by rather quickly, all seems good so far.most of my pre-transplant hair is growing back with a few small areas of shock-loss. The scar is almost impossible to feel and can't be seen with my hair grown out at this length.
Just sitting back now and waiting for HT No2 to kick in and do it's stuff.

added a few new pictures at the 3 month stage.

Thanks for the update Irish, I am about 7 weeks post, in the same boat as you. Nice job on the scar, undetectable! Where is the most shockout that you see, front, crown, sides, any around the scar area?? I cant really tell for sure from the pics.

Just a few more months brother!!

Nobuzz, i had a lot of shockloss directly below the scar and for the whole length of it. Some very bare areas on the top can be seen in the pics, but it will get better. hope you grow soon :-)

Good to hear from you Irish!!!!

You know, I heard that if you drink 2 pints of Guinness and pour 1 pint on your head daily, you will regrow your hair.

Of course, if you stop, all of the hair you gained will fall out =)

Anyway, before anyone gets overly-excited, this has only been proven for the people native to Ireland.

LOL!!!!!

Glad to see you brother, another 1-2 months and you will be sprouting all over!!!!!

Happy Growing!!!!

Irish,

Glad to hear you are progressing nicely! Welcome to the doldrums...the worst part of the HT in my opinion. Let the waiting begin!

Good to hear from you irish homer...i was thinking about you this past weekend and was wondering how you were doing. (recalling we were either same day or a couple days apart for our recent HT surgeries)

These two months did seem to go by pretty quickly. And I hope the next two go by just as quickly.

I didn't have much shock-loss to speak of (my first HT), and like you my scar is virtually undetectable by feel. Other than that, like you, doing the waiting thing.

Like falc said...the doldrums.

Looks good, IH. I might make a suggestion to you about pics.........you may want to try setting the camera down on a hard surface then taking the pic. It helps in avoiding any blurr in the pic.

Thanks for the update.

Irish,

You are at the beginning of your journey brother...3 months is where things begin...and typically is one of the hardest times. Since we automatically assume growth will start here, we tend to look in the mirror every moment we can looking for new growth. Just remember...patience is a virtue...it won't grow overnight!

Irish, Looking good! It's gonna look real nice come summer.
Quick question....... How did your first HT compare to the second at the 3 month mark? If there was a difference, do you think it's due to you having already had experienced an HT or maybe it could have been the doctor and his skills?

good question rjvw. not sure how to answer, i'm hoping that whatever growth is happening now is all from HT #1. that would mean that all the Dr Feller stuff has still to make an appearance.
the first time around seemed to grow faster but it was on a scalp with nothing on it so was a bit easier to see new growth.

Hairbank,
i will try and take some better pics today.
