Hi Janna. Very nice results! I also like the conservative & age appropriate hairline design. It seems like 2934 may be on the lower side for the # of grafts for the amount of area covered so I imagine the density is not too high (maybe 40/cm?). From the top down after shot it looks like he may have had a little Toppik as well. Do you know if this patient did have some concealer in those pics?

Thanks again for posting great before/after pictures. Although I do enjoy many of the discussion threads on this site I really would like to see more before/after photos of patients who are 6 mo > post HT. Thx

Thanks guys! Dr. Paul is turning out excellent work.

This patient has the nice wavy hair, which helps with better coverage. If I was a betting woman, I'd say he is on both proscar and rogaine to help retain and regain some native hairs.

Janna,

Very impressive photo album and very nice work. The only other picture I'd suggest would be a scar shot.

Nice growth for 6 months! Picture number 7 (overhead) does look like he has some concealer on as his scalp is black.

Donor scar shots were not taken, but we'll try to remember when the patient comes back for his 1 year follow up.

Regarding concealers, I just double checked again with Matt and Dr. Paul to make sure he did not have any on and they confirmed he did not and that we would shampoo it out if patients had any on for photos. Matt is making a phone call to this patient to verify yet again that no concealers were used.

The placement of your patient's hairline has got to make him very happy!! I'm happy just looking at it!! No wasted grafts placed unnecessarily.

Definitely concealer... No question.

Last photo (top down) you can see scalp coloring in frontal 1/2. No scalp coloring in back. Not toppik but more like Dermmatch or spray.

Still looks great! Good hairline.

Actually, the patient confirmed no concealer. Concealers were never discussed with this patient so we knew he did not have any on but we called to double check and definately no concealer. It must just be the lighting or something but I know Dr. Paul, Matt and patient were very happy with results thus far. We'll ask the patient to come back in another month or two if his schedule allows for more follow-up pictures.
