She looks like a very attractive woman, but I'm not impressed with these results. The hairline is very week and thin which makes the transplants more obvious. This is more obvious on the sides of her face. Also, the hair is combed over in the front angled after photo. Look at doc (paul) shaprios hairlines and compare.

Do you have any pics of class 6/7 patients.. megasessions.. extreme balding people.. i see that dr e got lot of pics in his website.. i am planning to do a ht in couple of months.. doing my research and building money..
dr e was my first preference.. but i see that even after the recent controversy.. you or the doc has not posted any real ht pics.. ( men with ht ON THEIR HEAD)..

honestly i feel 99% of the people here are for ht on head.. and male...would like to see that...

nm315;

I don't know those guys over there at Dr. Epstein's office, but I feel they are getting a bad rap. Truth is, they post more pics than most recommended surgeons and there are 5 or 6 who post more. The best way to judge is to look at patient created weblogs, and there are several for Dr. Epstein. Here's the link:

http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/blogs_by_doctor.asp?DrID=36

Also, I emailed some guys that made weblogs and they sent back more recent pics, some of these guys might do the same for you. Trouble is, some guys quit posting when things start growing.

Bruceman,

I'm not exactly sure what you are looking at, but I feel that these hairline results look great.

Please point out where the hairline looks weak and where the hair transplant seems obvious? Because I'm missing it!

Falc

I think this one looks very good. I don't think the hairline looks weak or thin at all. It looks very natural for her characteristics and should be this way.

I agree balody...nice to see a pretty face on here.
Great job Dr.E

Either Bruceman is stirring it up or maybe just missing something.

In a few of the pics when a hair clip is used to pull up the hair...it gives it that kind of sparse look.
It makes it looks as if hair is missing....it's not.

It kind've makes me think about my own "new" hairline and how dense packed i want it.
I see some jobs on here a wonder if the hairline is to "overpacked".

Even though I'm 40 years old...I still think about what I'm going possibly loss in future.
I feel my hairloss is pretty stabilized at this point....plus I'm on meds.
But for some guys (younger) that REAL dense packed hairline makes me think a little...what are they going to loss behind that wall of mop in the future.

I look a buddies of mine that have great hair...and when I look at the hairlines....it's not a "line" of dense packed hair...and they still look awesome.

Just a thought...would like to here what others think about this....or maybe i just think to much about this....lol.

Thanks guys,

MH

Balody you have quite the potty mouth. You should relax and be a little more tolerent of other peoples opinons.

I have commented positively on rahal and shapiro's photos because they deserved the good comments. These results do not.
I will restate my problem with this result which in my opinion does not show any real change in her looks....

If you compare the first before and after pics you can see there is no difference at all, and this is despite the dishonest use of a combover in only the after pic. These are the only pictures that are not posed or where the hair is manipulated to look it's best with a clip or with the hand.

It was thin and spaced out in the before picuture, and it looks exactly the same in the after picture. What is more is that her hair is bleached in the after photo compared to the before. She probably bleached it because the transplants looks so unnatural when they grew in.

Some of the people in this site have a real problem with reality and can't stand when others point them out. Is this the "we love each other club" or is it a forum to discuss different views??????????? Mannnn, I thought the sports forums were tough, this site is on another level and I can't believe half you guys really mean what you write.

Falceros, you are gentleman and one of the better modertors I've seen on forums. We will have to agree to disagree. Now I have to get back to work.

I think it's worthwhile to keep in mind that female hairlines are different than male hairlines, usually softer. I think she looks lovely, and the results are very natural looking.

I noticed you avoided my question Wink.

I'm honestly not sure you look at all the photos before making an evaluation. There is one picture that shows hair that is potentially covering the transplanted area, but other pictures (the one's clipped) show the transplanted area nicely. I see no evidence of it appearing thin.

In my opinion, hairlines look more natural when they are "softer". This involves a fade in effect or feathering of the hairline into the rest of the hair (natural or transplanted depending on the patient). In my opinion, Dr. Epstein created a soft natural hairline and there is nothing obvious about this transplant.

Aaron,

Perhaps you can also take some time to post some of Dr. Epstein's larger densely packed sessions (exceeding over 2500 and even 3000 grafts) including before, immediately postoperative, scar, and after pictures that shows his ability to do these kinds of sessions when appropriate for the patient. This will show how versatile Dr. Epstein truly is.

Best wishes,

Falc
