Gary,

6 month photos look good! And there is more to come!

Personally, I'm wondering why only 1500 grafts? I'd say 2500 would have suited you better and given you more density.

I'm also wondering why you didn't choose to get some temple work done?

I look forward to your response.

Falc

I agree with Falc,

I tonly takes a few hundred grafts and that would really give you a bang for the buck in the temple region.

The work looks very refined and you will look even better over the next few months. Any plans for another session?

^^^Perhaps in a year or so....the reason I went with 1,500 grafts was simple... .$$$$...it's what I could afford at the time. I'm actually quite pleased...and the difference between 6 months and 7 1/2 months is pretty nice too Smile

Nice result thusfar. 1,500 fu's may be a relatively small number given the area, but I believe you will have a natural stand-alone result. Congrats!

Gary,

We can certainly understand the financial situation. The nice part about this approach is that you can always choose to go back and get some more done.

Keep us posted.

Just added two pictures. I'm now at 8 1/2 months post-op. Everything is as you guys have predicted. There's been a bit more growth since 6 months and a bit fuller. Still have the kinkiness in the hair, but, I'm patient to let that take care of itself in time.
The guy who cuts my hair said he has to look hard to find the donor area.

Looks great Gary! I think Dr. Wolf is a fantastic doctor. The result so far with only 1500 grafts is awesome. I wish more of Dr. Wolf's patients would post on this forum.

I don't have a pre-op picture but will post one from a few months before. The 10 day picture tells the story though. I was a bald as a baby's butt with the receeding hairline. No existing hairs in the area.

GaryRW,

I think you are progressing nicely.

1500 grafts has clearly given you a cosmetic improvement. I encourage you also to post some pictures in various lighting conditions and without the use of flash to see how they stand out. It would also be interesting to see what your hair looks like styled back instead of forward.

Do you have any plans to go back to get more density?

Thanks for the update.

Falc

Gary,
Those are good results for only 1500 grafts. Is that FUE or strip?
