alsocooleyfied-
Looks great! Do you have any before/after's that show the graft placement? Was it pretty much the frontal 1/3? How many grafts did you have and do you have any idea what you cm2 is? The results really, really look great. I've always been a fan of Dr. Cooley. There are benefits to shaving down for HT's, but Dr. Cooley has shown time and again that he can provide great results transplanting in existing hair. You've got to be thrilled! Nice job--- looks like just the right amount of grafts were used to bolster your existing native hair------
If you could call Dr. Cooley and get us a graft/hair count and a immediate post-op pic that would be great!!!!! A lot of guys with your level of baldness would be happy to see them!!!!! Happy Continued Growth!!! J Partially Representing Shapiro Medical. My views are my own. I'll let you know if things change. 6721 transplanted grafts 13,906 hairs Performed by Dr. Ron Shapiro Dr. Ron Shapiro and Dr. Paul Shapiro are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians. |

I can see why you're so pleased alsocooleyfield...great results for sure.
Dr. Cooley performed my HT last month, and I just can't say enough about how impressed I was with my experience. Since I told people at work I was getting this done, I returned to work 2 days after my surgery. The main reason I told everyone is because I assumed that they would be able to tell, so I figured "what the hell". But you know, I can honestly say that I don't think anyone would have been able to tell even after 3-4 days. The surgery was that clean! All things considered, Dr. Cooley also gets an A+ from me. _________________ 2967 Total Grafts w/ Dr. Cooley on 1/3/07 [1st HT] Hair Count = 5,427 My Hair Loss Weblog |

alsocooleyfied,
Looks great brother, especially for only 3 months. I'll echo what others have asked for as well. Any immediately post op pictures you can post and graft/hair count breakdown? Glad you are doing well! I had 1700 grafts, 3300 hairs. I can't remember the exact number of 1's, 2's, etc. but there were about 900 1's. I don't have an immediate post-op picture. The grafts were placed at an average of 50/cm2. All grafts were to the front and temples, I had a far recessed temple on the right side that you cannot see very well in the before pictures, but it is now even with the left.

I was wondering if someone could look at my before pictures and give me an opinion on what nw class I was and maybe an opinion on where I am now. I never got a good feel of my nw class at the worst.
Also, I must say as others have, that pre ht I did not realize how much hair I had lost. You get used to it because it happens slowly and I got so used to a comb forward and avoided mirrors that I really wasn't aware. |

alsocooleyfied,
Regarding your question in your previous post: In my opinion, it looks like you were somewhere in the NW3 category and you moved up to somewhere in the NW2 category. |
