This fellow stopped in a couple of weeks ago and was 10 months out from a 2000 graft frontal case we did last fall. He has done well and should get maybe 25% more filling in. Preop, intraop and postop pics are shown. I think its likely we'll do a procedure further back at some point in the next couple of years.

It's good work Doc, definitely thinned behind though.

You are correct and we may do another procedure down the road. Fortunately he is average height or more, and unless he tilts down, his results really mask that posterior thinning.

Dr. Lindsey,

The front of his hair looks very nice now thanks to you. As Petchski pointed out, he apparently thinned behind the hair transplant, but another session should help do the trick.

Nice work.

Thanks Ceasar.

You know the thing that I find most disconcerting in hair work is not being able to predict who will grow soon and who will take significantly longer.

I saw 2 guys just this week. Both done in December about 4 days apart. One has maybe 30% growth if I am optimistic, and the other looks like 80%. Identical cases of frontal triangle work. One guy is frustrated but understanding, the other thinks we do miracle work.

I would much prefer everyone just starts at 7 months and that people could count on that date....

Dr. Lindsey, great work. True, there is just too much variability and unpredictability in hair growth. Makes me think .... God makes it grow but doctor takes the fees Smile
(This I say in lighter vein, pl. no controversy)

I think you are right. In fact my father in law, a cardiologist, has a coffee cup he always uses saying something like "God heals, but the doctor collects the fee".
