Hey guys

Some of you regulars will know I had a serious accident before I was due to fly to the states for my hair surgery with the great Dr Feller .

Well here is a quick story to help any Uk newbies or anybody wishing to travel abroad who may be anxious , whether it be Europe or the USA , If I can make it after all this then anybody should be able to .

3 days after i booked with Dr Feller I did this

I lost all the ligament holding my leg together , close to amputation .
I kept in close contact with Dr feller during my recovery , between spex ,the doc and his team did there upmost to accomedate me , even offering to pospone dates , shift things around to suit my surgeries , all the time showing concern for my predicament .

Within weeks I was under treatment to save my leg in the UK .

I got my leg brace off the day before I flew to New York , Dr Feller and spex even rung me personally to make sure I was ok to travel , the doctor and his team took extra time and care to make sure I was comfortable at all times even asking to see my surgery scars hahahahaha .
Since returning from New York 5 months ago I have had a final surgery to replace the ligaments with donors from other people .

Now I'm well on the road to recovery , back at work after 8 months and looking forward to racing again with my new mop of hair hahahahahaahha , so if I can do it after all that , anyone should be able too hahahahaha

good luck guys

The bit sticking out is my knee cap , I dislocated the lower part of my leg at the knee joint , severved all four ligaments an ,an artery and split my tibia , all this and the skin didn't even tear due to my leathers and boots .

3 operations , several donor bit from dead guys , 8 months off work , 9 months of physio and a partridge in a pear tree hahahahahaah

Oh and during this i found time to fly to New York and have 2100 crown grafts with Dr Feller hahahaha pocket hercules !

Richie,

That's terrible - I hope by now your knee is healed? I don't know much about the healing process here, but I know that looks PAINFUL!!!!
