Hello,
I have a rather large scar from a previous procedure. Has anyone else had hair transplanted into the old scar? Any pictures? I was told because my scar is so low on the back of my head, it would probably re-scar if excised. Thanks. |

there are quite a few people that do this. Look into doing FUE.
And find a qualified and experianced Dr. who has experiance in doing scar repair with FUE. Good Luck |

Hi Needrepair,
Are you having FUE/FIT extractions done for your hairline repair? There has been some significant success with this regarding the thinning of plugs, removing badly angled hairs, mini-grafts, etc. With an experienced FUE/FIT surgeon, there is more potential for less visible scarring which is especially important in a high visual impact area. I think you should seriously wait. Body hair into the scar is THE option.
