Hi all,

This came up in another thread, but I thought it warranted it's own topic.

When one agrees to a HT of X number of FUs and the doctor actually ends up with X + Y FUs (based on high density), should the patient be expected to pay the difference?

What if the patient can't really afford it, would the FUs be discarded...I would hope not!

Does one sign a waiver at the outset stating that they will pay for extra grafts and not know the total until afterwards...this could result in shock loss in some cases!

Just curious...thanks

Some doctors will want to charge and some don't. I was estimated for 1200 grafts with Dr. Ron Shapiro and my strip yielded 1584. I wasn't charged for the extra 384.
