I just did my first...folica.

I have been thinking about it for 10 years. I built it up inside my head, and now that it's over and done, it was something of a non-event.

I had very little swelling, the staples came out easy, and I had very little pain or discomfort.

Hopefully that helps, either way, keep us posted

Thanks all!

I don't have pics as I have never posted any on here ( I'm very private) . I'm on my 2nd day of healing and the grafts look damn good..Best of all not any shock loss thus far which is great!! Still a bit early though.. Now, the waiting game..

Folica, this is my 3rd HT. The surgery is no big deal . The rcovery is a little bothersome but no big deal.. Just think it over.. Yuo have 1 of two choices.. Hair or no hair

Thanks all

By the way.. The scalp exercises DO work!! Dr. True was very surprised how much looser my donor area was which allowed for my 2150 or so grafts.. Previously I only got 1476 and 1417 ..

Cheers to Jo's video!!

Mrjb-

Mrjb,

Congratulations bro! Pictures pictures, we want pictures :P. I know you are a private person and all...but I thought you decided to blot out the face and post pictures? Maybe you changed your mind...ah, I hope you'll reconsider. I'm sure many would benefit from seeing the work Dr. True did on you! There aren't a lot of Dr. True postings as of late, so it would be good to see some recent work!

Interesting that Dr. True was surprised by your laxity due to scalp exercises. I know that when I had surgery with him, I was given no instruction to do any scalp exercises...I'm surprised more doctors don't recommend this!

I'm sure your results will turn out great bro.

Falc

Thanks Falc,

Sorry guys, no pics Smile Gotta respect my privacy.. Maybe I'm a celebertity in disguise ?? BUT I do have a break down of my 2124 UNCUT follicular units.

736 singles
1190 doubles
198 triples

I asked Dr. True about scalp exercises prior to having the 3rd procedure ( see, even us vets still ask questions). He sent me Jo's link and I did the exercises for 1 month.. He was very surprised by my laxity as in my first procedure I only got about 1400 each..

Hooray!! That gives me a total of 5017!

Mrjb,

Try not to be too sad when all your new grafts say bye bye. They will return again...as you know Wink
