My dermatologist prescribed Tazorac for my face, I never applied it really close to my scalp, I currently use Retin A which I find stronger now that my skin has gotten tougher, it works better for my skin condition. I have never noticed any effect on hairloss but again I've not used it on my scalp.

dudue tazorac is stronger and much more effective than retin a for acne....but if retina works stick with that cuz its weaker ..u want to use the weakest stuff that works..if it doesnt work then and only then do u want to go stronger

Jay Dee, Have you tried other methods for controling the acne? I know the "Blue Light" laser is used for that.
