giants,

Keep in mind Extina is not FDA approved for hair loss...it's FDA approved for seborrheic dermatitis but happens to contain the same active ingredient ketoconazole that is in Nizoral - but as a topical foam.

In my opinion, Ketoconazole has some scientific evidence that it could help combat hair loss - however, there doesn't seem to be enough public evidence out there to date.

At the same time, I have been trying Revita shampoo containing 2% ketoconazole over the last week and will continue using it.

MrJB has also been using it (longer than I have) and he seems to like it.

Whether or not it will/can regrow hair (aka: strengthen miniaturized hairs), is another story.
