Hey guys, I just heard on the news where they've now classified hair loss as a disease. Maybe this will speed things up on a cure?

OK, the official definition of "disease" is "a pathological condition of a part, organ, or system of an organism resulting from various causes, such as infection, genetic defect, or environmental stress, and characterized by an identifiable group of signs or symptoms".

I suppose hairloss could be considered as a "pathological condition" of the scalp... but how about losing your eyesight with age being a "pathological condition" of the eyeball or even getting old being a "pathological condition" of the body?

I doubt you'll get a good response from your health insurance company, but you can always try...
