Those who have been regulars on this forum know that Bill, who posts as “Falceros”, has been an outstanding contributor to this forum community. Since October of 2004 Bill has voluntarily contributed over 4031 thoughtful posts. His posting “karma level” is so high up in the “Celestial Follicle Club” I can’t even see his feet. His reputation truly precedes him.

So I’m delighted to announce that Bill will be getting even more involved with this patient based community by becoming a part time “Associate Publisher”.

Having Bill help co-moderate this forum, answer emails and write updates for our Hair Loss Q & A Blog, newsletters and websites will help improve the communications and services this community provides.

Bill graduated from Temple University with honors in elementary education and is pursuing a graduate degree in counseling. Given the amount of great counseling he does on this community I think we should consider granting him an honorary Phd in “follicular self esteem and optimal growth counseling” once he reaches 5,000 posts Wink

Please join me in welcoming Bill as our new Associate Publisher.

Onwards and Upwards, Pat

P.S. Can anyone find that image of Falceros floating in the celestial heavens that was posted on this forum and attach it below? I think it would be appropriate.

Hell I thought he wasn't only a member but the president! Smile

I totaly expected this announcement to come sooner or later.

Good man for the job!

I just hope he can keep people from turning discussions meant to help people into arguments & mudslinging that goes on here.
We loose credabilty when that happens.

Congrats Falceros!

Hello everyone and thank you all so much for your support.

I have always been honored to be a part of this community and am thankful that I will be able to become a bigger part.

I've received so much support from this community in the beginning of my journey and now consider it an ongoing honor to give back. Thanks to Pat for giving me this opportunity to become an even bigger part. I will certainly do my best to live up to being a "Celestial Follicle Club Member"

Pat,

I remember that picture. It was originally posted by Bushy. That was incredible. I have it somewhere on my hard drive. I'm sure between my hard drive and searching the forums, I'll be able to dig it up. Though if someone beats me to it...that works for me!

Folica,

Certainly I will do my best to co-moderate this community as fairly as possible. Certainly we never want to turn a thread meant to help people into a mud-slinging contest, however, at the same time, I also believe that the occasional debate over controversial topics CAN be healthy for everyone as this is an educational community. Certainly together, we can help maintain a healthy balance of both, encouragement and education (through various means), while at the same time minimizing posts that will draw unnecessary long term negativity to the board.

Jagdish,

I happened to pop onto this threa earlier in the day and saw the picture. It was hilarious! I'm sorry you removed the picture.

B Spot,

Thanks for the kudos my friend. I appreciate your support!

Well, I was afraid that a lawsuit can be filed against me for morphing your image. Big Grin

Wait a minute. I only see a postcount of 3967 in his profile yet you claim he has over 4031 thoughtful posts. It's obvious you must be splitting some single posts into twos and threes. Do we have an actual postcount breakdown? How many of those are actually THOUGHTFUL posts. Surely even the most ethical Celestial Follicle Club member will occasionally make a non thoughtful post. Remember, more post counts does not make a bigger pizza.

Using laser brush since 7/26/07. Working great so far.

Hahaha...that's great BeHappy! I laughed out loud on that one!

Jagdish,

That's a great picture! I've downloaded a copy to my computer as well. That is hilarious! I guess it would be nice to have that problem eh?

NoBuzz,

Thanks for your encouragement my friend. You are right...I DO love to do this. In fact, I think my wife is already sick of hearing about how excited I am about undergoing these projects.

Hairfree,

Thanks for your encouragement too brother. It was also good to see you the other day. Next time we'll have to hang out a little longer...sorry we had to run a little early.

But wow...your hair is looking AWESOME for only 4 months.

NN,

Thanks my friend. I'm glad to be able to be a bigger part of this community.

Everyone,

One thing I am encouraged about is that it is not just one person that makes this community so great, but all of us working together to help others that come into this community. We all once started out as a newbie and were spoon fed information that later turned many of us into experienced veteran patients. Thank you all for continuing to make this community what it is, an inviting friendly atmosphere...facilitating education and encouragement.

Cheers,

Falc

Mrjb,

Hey we agree on something. Smile There is no way I can call him Bill. Just as I am no longer "nervous" I guess the name will have to stay.

Man this is going to be hard to get to 4000 posts so maybe I can get a part time gig too. I'm going to just wait it out and go for the Walmart greeter some day.

NN

P.S. Actually though if you look at most of Falc's posts they are pretty detailed and occasionally long winded...J.K. Smile His 4000 is like most of our 8000. But I do like the above comment about Falc splitting posts. The photo is too perfect also...Should be sent to his admirer Grace from Bosley.
