Well I go in to Shapiro Medical on Wednesday (Feb 18th) for the life altering deed. I am getting extremely excited at this point, especially after seeing Tkotko's results. In case you have't looked, check out the thread below.

justin, I think you made a good choice going with Shapiro. Is he doing lateral slits now? It seems like I read that somewhere. Regardless, his work has always been top notch. We always say "good luck" to each other before going in for surgery, but luck doesn't really factor into it. The doctor's skills are what counts and the man has skills. I guess "good luck" means have a pleasant experience and a speedy recovery. So GOOD LUCK!!!

I believe Shapiro has always performed the lateral slit method, if not, he is doing it now becuase he mentioned that when I had my consultation with him and Matt Zupan.
