Just curious if anyone has heard anything about this product. I am already using propecia but heard about this product also.

What about Fabao?

Also, what is the 1/4 medication some people talk about on here? Is it the same thing as propecia? And do I just get my dermatologist to write me an rx for that instead of propecia?? thx.

The 1/4 med people talk about here is called Proscar. It contains the same drug that is in Propecia, which is finasteride. However, Proscar is 5mg and Propecia is 1mg. Proscar is used to battle BPH (enlargement of the prostate gland).

It is cheaper in the long run to get Proscar and cut each pill into 4th's, giving you a 1.25mg dose each day. It might be a little difficult convincing your doctor to give you a prescription for Proscar to fight hair loss however. I just started Propecia this month, but might mention making the switch next time I see my doctor.
