Peter,
My experience has been that each graft has had hair showing in it, but it was often difficult to see. Why? Because the hairs were so short, there were scabs covering some, the angle I was viewing them from was not very good (my eyes into amirro to the top of my head...), and the grafts were covered with the stuff I was spraying to help with the healing.
If you used a reputable doc, you should have hair in each graft. It less important that you can see hair in each one now as it will be seeing hair in each in six months. HTs test your patience, but hang in there and you'll see the results before long.
Good luck,
Mr. T
