Gogo,

A lot is going to depend on their policies and the documents that I am sure you signed. If nothing was signed (which I doubt) you should be able to just call them up and cancel and expect your money back as they would have no legal basis to keep it.

If you signed a document to secure the operation, you might have a tricky time seeing the cash again. Who knows.

If you don't retrieve the money, count your blessings you found this site and consider the $500 the best money you ever wasted. Tell Dr. Konior at consult what has happened and that you were referred from this site and it is POSSIBLE that he might take pity on you and cut you a break financially. Even if he doesn't don't sweat it because he is probably less expensive than Bosley and much much better.

Good luck.

I agree with NN,

500 bucks is nothing compaired to spending a lifetime with a sub-par transplant.

If you paid by credit card, you might have more recourse...

I agree with the others............$500 is a small price to pay in the scheme of things. If you can get it back, great Smile. If not, I wouldn't hesitate to walk away. From what I hear of Bosley's pricing, you'll likely more than earn the $500 back in pricing differential with your new surgeon.
