Are there any drugs that women can take to stop the hair loss like you guys have? Can women take the Revita or Finistra (not sure if spelled properly). I am 46 years old and will NOT be having any more children so that should not be a factor here.
I'm happy to see a couple of other women posting here. Any advice? |

worriedgirl,
Assuming your hair loss is genetic, Rogaine is your best bet. There is no finasteride for women or anything like that, though there have been rare occasions where I've seen physicians prescribe finasteride to women. It should be noted however, that finasteride can cause birth defects in children if women who are pregnant come in contact with broken tablets. Finasteride is generally not for women and should never be taken unless directed otherwise by a physician. Falc To learn about how I restored my hair, read my hair restoration story with pictures.
