Friends,
For many of you this may not have been an issue and I realize that over time newly transplanted hairs calm down some from the wiry feel or look, but......... My problem started with plugs many years ago. They were probably compressed into the hole made and the hairs came out in a curly corkscrew fashion. Needless to say these did not match up at all with my native straight hair. Although they calmed down some they are still curly. I was wondering if have any of you tried to straighten the crappy hair to match up native straight hair even if it is temporary for a social event for example. I have seen Afro-American hair straightened, (former pop star, James Brown or Al Sharpton for example). I have thought of trying something like this but never proceeded. My hair from my recent transplants are coming in much nicer and match up great - its just those frigging plugs! The newer, refined techniques have probably eliminated a lot of these problems. |

NoBuzz -Try putting regular conditioner in your hair (alot) and leave it in for a good 1/2 hour before taking your shower, slicking it back every once and a while (with brush) until you rinse it out. Not a cure all but trains the corkscrews somewhat.
A few times right off then once and while. |
