Hi to everyone from Greece.
I had my HT on Dec 30, 2002 in Athens. So far everything is going as expected and read in this informative website.
The agency where i did my HT is going to provide me for free 4 Electrotrichogenesis (ET) therapies within the next 2 weeks. Each one lasts 12 min. They adviced me moreover to have 8 more ET's on the following 2 months (1 per week).
For these additional 8 ET's they want to charge me some $800. I was not told about these expense prior to the HT, however now they strongly advice to proceed as above.
Do anyone of you had such experience?
I saw in Internet that Electrotrichogenes is due to get FDA approval.
Thanks for the attention.
Kind regards,
Manos

I wouldn't bother, if I were you. You'll get far better proven, and MUCH less expensive results by going on Propecia (Finasteride) and/or Rogaine (Minoxidil).

I'm sorry but $800 (for just 8 sessions)?!

That kind of price would be hard to swallow with a PROVEN therapy, at that rate.

I'm interested in maybe one day trying it out for myself (mostly just out of curiosity and entertainment), but certainly not if it's going to cost 100 bucks a pop (unless I knew my hair would almost certainly grow back from it).

Where are the before and after photoes (if there are any), and do they guarantee anything for those 8 precious sessions - maybe a hair or two???
