I am scheduled to have surgery with Dr. Raymond Konior in February and I have just read a responce to a question that said he had narrowed his search to 3 top docs. Then he eliminated Dr Konior. Why? I am a 5-6 on the norwood scale and was told I could get 3000 grafts(strip) for $13,000. Does that price sound reasonable? A guy I know got about1800 grafts done last may by another doctor and only paid $2300. My friend tried to get me to go to his doctor but I am afraid I may get less than desirable results. I would rather spend the extra money for excellent results. My friends hair lokks o.k. but it doesn't seem like it helped too much.Does anyone think 3000 grafts will make me happy with my appearance? Further, is 3000 at one session worse than if I broke it up into 2 sessions? I have researched HT's for years now and had given up on the idea until finding this sight. I am now 38 yrs old and I hope my hair transplant will let me look into the mirror again without getting depressed. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also, I would like to thank the publisher of this sight as well as all who share their experiences. Losing your hair sucks and if there is a way to get at least some of it back who wouldn't? If I had not found this sight I would have no hope. I have read all the bad reviews years ago and unfortunately still happening to this day on Bos.
