I would like to know how the first growing hairs looks like. (Day 1-7)
I am at 5 months 2 days with the first signs of growth yet to come. Im quite worried, but I understand some people experience even 6 and 7 months before the growth starts..

Get on Rogaine if you are not. It speeds things up big time.

When growing in for te first time, they are thin and pointed - not thick and stubby like you shaved it off and it regrew.

Mine all started out as little black dots, growing eventually into hairs. At 5 months you should be seeing growth. I had sporadic hairs popping up after 4-5 weeks.

At 5 months I had only a few fine hairs come in.
Nobody even knew I had a transplant.
I'm now at 9 months and 50-60% have come in and growing well.
