From Men's Health.com:

Italians insure against “hair today, gone tomorrow”

Men and women in Italy aged between 15 and 70 can now take out insurance against going bald

The policy was developed by an insurance company and a chain of hair care clinics, and costs £220 for an annual premium, regardless of how much or little hair the insured has.

Payout is capped at £5,300, however, and depends on the amount of hair lost between taking out the policy and making a final claim.

Policyholders also receive two free check ups annually and a kit of products – although using these is not a condition of the policy.

Catello Balsamo, president of the Italian Society of Hair Surgeons, said public interest in hair transplants had surged in the past year, following a transplant carried out on the country’s prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi.

I'm assuming you have to be an italian citizen to get this insurance. I think it's a great idea. Sounds like they are the first country to originate something like this.
