old transplant clinic for a "consult". I was curious to see if they changed their techniques with the times in the past 20 years and it doesn't look like it.

My questions....

Q. What is a typical "large" session, and how many grafts is that>
A. A large session ends up being about 2400 hairs, which is 800 grafts. It costs $6,000.
Accoriding to this gentleman, a lot of clinics are calling one-hairs "grafts" but hairs grow in 3's so that's how they take them.

Q. Do you use microscopes?
A. No, they actually get in the way. The reason some clinics use microscopes is to cut grafts into more grafts - thus the 2000 graft session, etc.

Q. Is it possible to do a one-pass session?
A. No, these clinics will say so but you'll always need more than one session.

I think those guys were ok back in 1990, but it looks like they are basically still doing the same procedures from what I could tell. They've got some local (Southern) celebrities advertising for them though, showing their transplants.

Or are they called "Hair Squared?" since hairs only grow in 3's)
