I currently take 1/4 proscar everyday but now I hear some people say they take 1/4 tab every other day. Which is it? Thanks

I think you'll find the majority of people take it every day.My doc told me to take it daily and have been on it for 2.5 months now with no problems at all

Propecia is 1mg of finasteride and is taken daily.

Proscar is 5mg finasteride and taken daily quartered is 1.25 mg daily.

I think the every other day prescription which I currently take as prescribed, is to keep the average daily dosage to less than 1mg.
