I am now at day 4 after surgery at Charles Medical Center, Boca Raton, Fl. I had approximately 2000 implants. Dr Charles never told me how many he actually did, but I was assured that a minimum of 2000 would be done. The procedure took all day.

Before surgery I read a number of articles from various patients across the country and was prepared for the worse. It never happened. The surgery, while tedious, was not painful except for the anesthetic that was applied to my scalp by needle. I have had practically no post operative pain, only what I would consider as mild discomfort, and no swelling. I don't know how this will turn out, but so far I am very pleased. Dr Charles and his assistants are wonderful.

I'll keep you posted on my progress. I know I found this sort of "first hand" experiences of others very helpful before deciding on the surgery myself.
