| This young man presented to have correction of frontal triangle alopecia. He wears a short haircut in the front and an extremely close buzz cut in the back. Scar minimization was of concern to him and a 2 layer tension free closure should allow him to maintain his short donor area hair-style. The final picture shows one of his recipient areas nearing the end of the case, and his very short donor hair is noted. Most of our other patients have a bit longer hair being transplanted, which lends towards a fuller immediate postop appearance. Nevertheless, even with short hairs and a modestly distended scalp from tumescent solution, he will get a nice result. |
