| This post is for the ladies... Female patients who experience hairloss tend not to be as good a candidate for HT compared to men due to their tendency to lose hair diffusely rather than in discrete patterns. The result is that most ethical HT doctors will perform far fewer HTs on women compared to men. And then there is this patient. She came to me about a year ago with loss along the left part area and the front hairline. Her hairloss had been stable at that point so we went ahead with a "fill in procedure" of about 1,200 grafts in just one sitting.
