I have taken the plunge and decided to do something about my very high hairline. Living in Australia, I did my research and decided to go with Dr Knudsen who is based in Sydney. I had the surgery on January 14. Apart from a little soreness in the donor region, I am very happy with the whole procedure.
Any tips on care of my little babies would be appreciated. I am dabbing vitamin E oil on the scabs and washing with a special shampoo. I am concerned about being too rough with the grafts. How do you guys suggest I wash the grafts?
P.S Some of the results I have seen on this site have been excellent. Well done guys!

Rocky,

Congrats! Washing your hair the first few days is pretty simple. My opinion is avoid letting the shower spray directly on the grafts for about a week. I used a large cup that I filled and then poured over the hair. Spread the shampoo on the pads of your fingertips and lightly work in and around the grafts and especially on the donor area. Do no use your fingertips!!! I lightly patted the hair dry with a towel, but avoided rubbing the ahir with it. I'd also avoid a hair dryer for a few weeks, if you used one in the past.

Any chance you can share some pictures with us?

Happy healing,

Mr. T

El Guapo,
I found Dr Knudsen to be very professional, relaxed and basically very easy to deal with. I am very happy with the whole procedure. I would definitely recommend him.
Mr T, I have heaps of photos that i want to post but, embarrassingly, I don't know how to attach them.
Any tips would be appreciated.
