True dense packing with the lateral slit technique.

This patient had 4017 grafts in one session with Dr. Hasson and team. His characteristics allowed for Dr. Hasson to be more aggressive with the hairline design and overall density. Photos were taken five minutes after surgery.

Wow that many in such a small area huh? He either is not to worried about future loss or he's got a great donar area, or both! That's gonna be a great hairline!

I agree - huge number of grafts for a relatively small area. It looks simply awesome (so clean!!).

Jotronic - what would you say the density will end up being in the hairline?

Dakota,

The patient has a great donor supply and he's not 21. The patient is in his mid forties and felt that he looked older than he felt. His hair loss pattern and family history along with several years of positive holding power with Propecia allowed for such a session.

M&M,

It's hard to say off hand what the density is. I think it was in the high 70's to mide 80's in teh very front.

Just to be sure you know what you are looking at the hairline was not lowered as much as it may appear. Some of the work is blended in to his existing hairline for a proper transition from the transplanted hair to the native.

Joe,

That's some killer density and in my opinion, perfectly acceptable at his age.

Nice and ultra refined!

Best wishes,

Falc

Beautiful work and pictures. These consistent up close images coming out of Vancouver, showing graft angulation are invaluable. This guy's going to be thrilled.

I can't wait to see his results. I would guess that 4000 grafts in that region would actually equal original density and not just give the illusion of density. Here is a link of a guy who got 1800 grafts in a similar area and still got great looking results, so I can only imagine how stellar this guy's results will be in 1 year.
