| Hey guys...Thought I'd drop by here and post some updates on a 5828 graft procedure I had done 3 months ago. I had been using dermmatch/toppik daily to conceal the loss the last 2 1/2 years(I'm 27)...Since I started doing this the loss really progressed rapidly from a NW2-3 to NW5 diffuse situation which seems to have stabilized/slowed a year before having the transplant Since the transplant, I've started taking 1/4 Proscar and since day 54, 5% Minoxidil as well. Some stats on the transplant: -Strip Size: 2.5cm/30cm -1000 singles used in the hairline -836 singles used in a wreath formation around my head -3992 multis used down the middle -grafts per cm squared ranges from 25-45, back to front -My hair diameter was apparently ~95 microns, compared to the usual 50-80. -Dr. Hasson estimates I have approximately 3-4k more grafts available for the future(9-10k grafts) |
