Damn...even on the pics one can see the contrast between transplanted area and the not touched one. Well, until time comes for the next HT, choose a style that fits you best and than do what you think it's best. Try anything between a #2 to #4 haircut and see. Good Luck.

Have you tried your hair at 1/2 inch enough to cover the scar and dermmatch in front to make it thicker? As far as looks don't worry that much: at worst you have a thinning, but still with hair looks. Is not as bad you think. The HT while thin, still frames your face, and people's eyes stop as soon as they see something darker. |

The problem is - it looks odd when longer because the hairs are growing in 3's and 4's ALONG THE HAIRLINE. There are 1's and 2's as well, but 3's and 4's directly up front make things look very odd... Basically, I can't wait til February to get this done right by Dr. Feller. 1,614 with Dr. Pistone on 2/3/06 in Marlton, NJ. It looks pretty good dude, the scar isnt that bad that it should be an issue for you I hope.
Im planing for a procedure myself, aiming for the winter. Can I ask why you only did 1604 and not more? |

dhuge67 , maybe I am see it wrong, but it looks like the doc brought your temples pretty low, that could be an issue at a later date. Your hair does look good short

Troy, you are right. It is already a problem, since I have receded behind where the transplants were placed, already. I already know that I'm going to have to give up my crown as far as transplants go. I'm going to save what donor area I have left for the mid-scalp to the front. Luckily, with my head shape etc, I can always cut my hair close and maybe one day it won't be noticeable that I am bald/balding. If Propecia kicks in soon and maybe holds the hair at the crown, I'll be set. I just hope that my side recession doesn't go too far, otherwise I'll have to use up precious donor hair on the SIDES of my head...YIKES. 1,614 with Dr. Pistone on 2/3/06 in Marlton, NJ. This is paraphrased from an email sent to me by Doctor Pistone's office:
Chris, you received a total of 241 1-2 hair follicle units and 1373 3-4 hair follicle units for total count of 1614. 1,614 with Dr. Pistone on 2/3/06 in Marlton, NJ. dhuge,
I actually think that you have a great head for the shaved slick look.
Well with a breakdown like that Im not suprised that you got 3's on your hairline - as you have an unusually low count for 1's and 2's. On the plus side that if thats your average distrobution your going to have pretty good coverage with your limited no of grafts. Maybe FUE will not be bad for you as they will be able to find and extract 1's for your hairline and the rest for everything else. 1344 grafts with Ron Shapiro - June 2006 |

It doesn't look bad at all. See if you can get an overhead shot in bright light to judge better. Also remember it's still early.

Like troy said I think that your overall hair looks good. I also agree that your temples were brought down too low, but should be able to be filled in with your next session.
I am sure that you are excited to get back in the chair with Feller. done and done!! Check it out... http://hair-restoration-info.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/2566060861/m/7531016593 |
