This patient has a skin condition that leaves his scalp with large and sometimes raised brown spots or blotches which were already being treated by his dermatologist. He had noted that over the years he slowley lost more hair from his left side than from his right and he desired to reconnect his forelock back to the right temple.
To maximize his result we decided to place the grafts a bit heavier on his left side with the understanding that he would comb his hair from left to right after his surgery grew out. We also decided it was best to distribute the hair just a little further apart from each other in an attempt to cover more bald scalp and help hide the brown spots. It worked.

Here is a video of his result after less than one year.

I used a standard video camara which I held in one hand and combed through the hair with the other for critical evaluation. This is exactly how he would look if you saw him at a party and just videotaped him. I made sure to comb the hair every which way to demonstate the density and the area covered.

Dr. Feller,

Thanks for posting this video. This patient looks great for only 2000 grafts. I really am liking the use of video as it has a tendency to expose a more realistic picture of the result. I especially like that he posed at varying angles, and hairstyles, and combing through the hair gives our members an overall idea of the coverage and density.

Nice work!

Falc
