I read posts all the time where someone says, "If you are going to get a hair transplant you should ONLY go FUE if you are getting under X number of grafts. Strip is only for mega-sessions."
I beg to differ.
This patient came in yesterday for his one year follow-up visit. The first photo of the donor area is a bit washed out so it looks like it may be a typical donor scar but to our surprise the patient allowed us to shave the area where we removed the strip. When shaved, the real story is revealed. I would have taken video but he had already left before I knew he was here. I will try to get him in for this later.
Strip width was 1.3 cm, length 10cm. Number of grafts, 1424. |
