Hi. I have seen your newly posted pics and I must say that there's a major improvement...congrads. I saw your pre-op pic and I think your situation was similar to mine. Mine might have been a little better than what you had but I had a very similar to pattern to yours. Which Norwood class would you classify your old hair pattern? I think that's a 3 or 4. Also, how many grafs did you have for your HT? And how long has it been since the HT? I must say that I would be very satisfied with your results. I am currently at 4 months post-op but I am not satisfy with the growth at this point. However, I only had about 1000 grafs for my transplant focus mainly on the frontal region. I could clearly see my new hair line now but it's still not thick...especially under the bright lights...scalp is very noticeable. Moreover, I have been on propecia for about 4 months now as I have mentioned before. It's just frustrating for me, especially I am only 21 and I have to deal with this Sh*t!!!

Maverick:

I had 2205 FUs. They focused on the frontal third, but Dr Rose put them throughout the top.

I was a NW4A. I'm NW2 now.

Longer hair on top, light hair spray, and no further hair loss are my greatest aids.

Buddy, I hear ya about the early hair loss. I began loosing my hair at 21. REALLY fell out fast at 22. Slow trickle after that. I'm a no-doubt NW5 in the making.

Hang tough. I am 10 months post op and the hair seems to keep thickening. You have to remain patient and just "believe" for now. Months 4-10 produce very slow, subtle changes that add up to pretty cool results.

Still, I would like a little more thickness in the frontal third. BUT . . . I can have okay looking hair now. Believe me, that is a MAJOR step. One that I am thankful for.
