I had 1000 grafts in front 1/3 area. I have a very strong widow's peak(natural). The pics are 4 1/2 months post op. Very slow regrowth. Should I lower my hairline? Doc say's to save grafts for the future.

Hey Eastcoast,
It's nice to see your results. From what I see, you have quite a bit of growth, although I don't know what you looked like pre-op. Both Futzy and NW posted that they really took off at 4 1/2 months. I'm just about at 5 months and I'm seeing rather dramatic changes at this point.

As to whether you should lower the hairline, that's a personal decision. Personally, I think the line looks very natural with the slight recession. Maybe your doctor's advice is good advice.

LOOKING GOOD BUDDY!
Jim

Thank you. I have multiple pics but can only figure out how to upload one. I was a 5 with no crown or sides going back. I had very thin minihair on top.

in my opinion, it looks good for your shape of head. of course, i could give you a better opinion if i had more pics to see. but to go from a nw5 to what you have now, that's amazing. use a little toppik and some hairstyle gel and you'll be set!

Four and a half months to "really take off", eh?
That is awesome to hear. I'm a few days from the 4 month mark!
And guess what, another ingrown hair arrived yesterday. I guess more hair is still growing in! Smile

NW:
That is SWEET to hear!!!
Maybe I'm just "warming up" right now! Haha, great to have more hope! I'm already quite pleased with the improvement.
That'd be fantastic if I've got a lot more growing left to look forward to.
I did start my first regrowth at a shade under 6 weeks. Maybe that is early, but I know a few other posters started about then too.
Good news for me, I think!

eastcoast,
your hair looks great. as far as hairline, take another pic with your eyebrows showing, and we can get a better idea, and give opinion accordingly.
