I just want to share my experience of the Farjo clinic in Manchester with anyone who is thinking of having an HT in the U.K.
I wore a hairpiece for 7 years and finally plucked up the courage in December 2008 to get my hair sorted properly. Losing the hairpiece is as nerve racking an experience as a man can go through. I was quite lucky that I still had quite good coverage (despite Advanced Hair Studios best attempts to ruin my hair with glue and tape) and a good dose of Toppik got me through.

From the first contact to the surgery the Farjo clinic is the most professional place you could ever have a HT with. At the first appointment with Mick (the patient co-coordinator) I was really nervous as I had to go 24 hours without the wig so they could asses me properly. They simply explained what they could achieve with my hair without any unrealistic claims. It was then left to me to make my mind up if that is what I wanted. I decided to have the Ht done. I have 2 young kids so it was now or never. All the time leading up to the HT they are in constant contact and reassured me over any worries and concerns. They sorted out all the accommodation for a few nights as I didn't want to scare the kids when I got home.

The whole procedure took about 12 hours but it really flew by. My head after wards was no where near as red or bloody as I thought it might be.

After the op they have phoned every couple of weeks to see how I am getting on which is reassuring.

You can see my pics here http://www.hairtransplantnetwo...-page.asp?WebID=1184

To sum up if you are looking for a hair transplant in the U.K. then there really is no-where else to consider. With the pound devaluing and my personal experience at the Farjo clinic I cannot see any reason to go to America or the U.S.A. if you live in the U.K. We really do have a world class clinic on our shores.

Thanks for reading.

Hi Balody.

Thanks for the response. I was a NW4 and had 2996 grafts totaling 5990 hairs in total. I will stick some more pics up when something starts to happen. Soon I hope.
