Ok, When I say I sweat like a pig I mean it. Even when I eat hot, not spicy, just hot food - typically will result in me breaking out in a sweat - well this sweating is restricted to the scalp and face. Its a family thing I guess (not to say that we all sweat while eating, but some of us do). Anyway that aside, I wanted to know whether sweating from the scalp would be bad after I have my HT. I've searched through the forums, and it appears that it should not be an issue?
I would assume it shouldn't seeing as well if you shower after your HT your scalp does get wet or does it (shower cap?).
This has got me pretty worried, about how effective my HT would be (Assuming I eventually get one done). Coupled with the fact that I live in a hot country where the electricity/lights go out 4-5 times a day (an hour each). Its only May right now, but once those lights go out I'm sweating.
Hope someone out there can help (not with the sweating, but the question).
Thanks

Interesting question, and one Dr. Cooley addressed with me.

I asked about working out, as I have this routine with a trainer and some other men in town. He said try to avoid too much persperation.

I don't know for how long, but he said I could go back to 75% after 5 days, but the persperation might be an issue.

I don't sweat too much so I didn't think it would be an issue so I didn't follow up with a question about that. You might use his email on his website, I believe it's jcooley65@aol.com.

He's a dermatologist and has very impressive educational credentials in that field, so he might know more about this particular issue than a non-dermatologist.

Thanks for the email I will give that a try.
.
That said, what about after your HT - are you allowed to shower - well wash your scalp hair - or is that to remain untouched? I understand that sweating and washing your scalp/hair are a bit different - although they both leave the scalp wet/damp.
?
Thanks
