I was wondering if someone can give me any feedback on Dr.Epstein. I will like someone that has had work done with him before to let me know what has been there outcome and experience with this doctor. Like I mentioned before I dont want to go through multiple surgeries to get where I want to get. I am seeking a doctor whos interest is fufilling my concerns and doing the job right the first time. From what I have read everyone seems happy with doctor epstein, but can someone actually write me direct or give me some contact info so that I can ask a couple of questions. I also wanted to know if you scheduled a consultation with doctor epstein, to see him do you have to go to miami office or can you see him in tampa

I believe Dr. Epstein does quality work and is a good choice for those needing 2500-2900 grafts. Like many Docs, he has chosen not to staff for doing larger session sizes than that. Do your homework and review as many patients of his as you can and see what you think.

I think as you continue to perform your research you will find that Dr Epstein is one of the most respected HT docs on the site and in the industry. As far as hairbank stating he does not have enough staff to perform large cases that is completely inaccurate. Dr Epstein currently has 15 fulltime experienced assistants and will regularly perform 3000-4000 graft cases if that is what the patient needs. There are many of his happy patients that post here (djdennis and more hair come to mind).

BTW….I’m sitting here typing this after having a transplant with Dr Epstein yesterday. This was my 3 procedure (previous were 1997 and 2002) and first with Dr Epstein. I’m preparing a post with pics and surgical summary to come soon, but it was by far the easiest procedure I have had. I had no pain and only took one Aleve before bed. I even felt well enough to go out to dinner in South Miami last night after the procedure. I still can’t believe how great I feel today and how good it looks. More to come on me but if you would like a list of patients that you can speak/meet with private message me and I will provide them for you.

Well I wanted to see if I can go see the doctor. I tried calling the office but I guess I called to late. My only day off is monday so I was hoping to go this monday if they were able to fit me in? What do you think?

Dr. Epstein has a long history of performing state of the art results. Use the "find" feature of this forum to see what his patients are saying. You can also view his doctor profile which contains surgical and contact information and links to weblogs created by his patients.

Congratulations on your hair transplant with Dr. Epstein. I hope as a consultant and now as a patient you'll create a hair loss weblog to share your experience and progressive photos.

Additionally, I think hairbank may have the impression about Dr. Epstein's staff because the majority of the results displayed on this forum don't exceed 3000 grafts. Perhaps you will take the time to share some of his work where he performs larger densely packed sessions.

Don't misunderstand, I think Dr. Epstein does perform quality work - I really do.

However, he does not consistently produce session sizes outside the 2500-2900 range. I checked, DJ Dennis had 2953 grafts, can't find MORE_HAIR's so maybe you can help me out on that one since you work for Dr. Epstein and probably can look it up.

I pointed this out not to paint Dr. Epstein in a bad light, but to point out that for someone who is NW4 or more, needing a large number of grafts, IMO it's far more advantageous to have more in one session.
