Hi folks, I’m only ten weeks out but I’m already started to see some growth on my hairline. However I can only see growth on my left and from side of the hairline, my right side is completely empty and no signs of any growth, my girlfriend says that I look funny, and I certainly don’t want to look funny if you know what I mean. . I know that is early in the game, but should I be concern of this uneven growth? Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ralph

Uneven growth is normal .. Some say the crown area grows slower as well.. It's really hard to judge growth week by week or month by month..
the best thing to do is do hold all jugdments until 1 year -14 months. If not you will just be making yourself miserable watching the grass grow. Of course you can make some observations at about 6 months or so but it is still early

Hey Ralph,

Uneven growth is perfectly normal, so don't worry. Hair Follicles are complicated things and maybe the hair that is not growing on your right was more affected from the DHT.

Relax, like MRJB said wait until about 12-14 months before you make any kind of substantial judgements. If after this time you are still seeing no hair growth on the right hand side consult with your doctor.

Hi Ralph,

As others have said, uneven growth is normal. I am experiencing the same thing as Balody did, left has some catching up to do in order to even up with the right.

Time should take care of this.

At this point nothing to worry about.
If it is still the case after 10-12 months I would ask for an explanation.
