Hi Everybody,

For the last one month I am facing the problem of hair falling. I am very frustrated with this issue and now planning about hair transplantation but I am a bit confused about hair transplantation procedure. Some peoples tell me about side-effect of hair transplantation. Can anybody give me some useful information about Hair Transplantation?

Tom-

I'd encourage you to use the "find" feature on this site and so some research. Whether or not you're a good candidate for a Hair Transplant is dependent on many things:

  • Your Age
  • Whether or not you have an established loss pattern
  • Are you losing your hair due to Male-Pattern-Baldness or something else
  • Have you tried Finasteride to halt your loss or regrow some hair
  • Do you have good donor hair and donor hair supply
  • Do you have the money to get a HT or can you afford to borrow it

These are just a few questions you'll want to run through.........again, use the "find" feature here to do some research.

Good luck.

Tom,

Welcome to our community. Certainly we can understand how you are feeling.

Hairbank has asked you some good questions and gave you some good advice.

I recommend reading a few of these threads:

What should I consider when researching hair transplantation?

http://hair-restoration-info.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=569...071019713#5071019713

What are the various methods of hair transplantation and how does it work?

What FUT method is better: Strip or FUE?

I hope this helps.
