I'm planning to have my surgery the day before I go to the beach for a week. How long should I wait before going in the water and getting my scalp wet?

In my opinion (I'm not a doctor)I would wait about 2 weeks. By then the grafts are permanently in place.

I'm not a doctor either, but I know you need to keep your head out of the sun after surgery, too. Not just for a few weeks (like swimming) but even longer, i believe.
