Is it true that transplanted hair can become dependant on Minoxidil and once it is stopped the transplanted hair can fall out or thin?

TTDS,

No, this is not true. Minoxidil works by stimulating the hair follicle by increasing circulation to the scalp. Transplanted hairs don't have to be stimulated as they are immuned to the effects of genetic hair loss.
