Hi there people.
I had ht done on Feb 13th. This week a zit appeared in the middle of my scalp. I took a shower and after it, i combed my hair and the zit seem to bleed a little. Is it dangerous? There is some itching pain sometimes on the scalp but very little. The doctors say it is normal. I am worried, what if i took out some follicles. What do you think? Thank you. |

Yes, it is normal and no reason to worry. Just keep your scalp clean.

Sebastian,
Your doc is right...it's normal. At this point, there is no reason to worry about losing a follicle...they would have to be surgically removed at this point. A zip/pimple on the scalp is most likely an ingrown hair...espect to see a lot more of those in the coming months...they will hurt and some may itch. But it just means there is activity below the skin and soon the hair will grow! Of course, at one month post op, you still have a good wait to see any new regrowth.
